After my arrival in Bangkok I was busy all Saturday and Sunday. I wanted to buy a cheap tablet to make my blog and save pictures. So I made my way through the jungle of Bangkok to the MBK shopping centre. After some talks I decided to buy a cheap fake and see how far I can make it with that. Than I went to the Khoa San Road to buy a bus ticket for me and Luisa for the next night. But as it was Sonkran I just got wet. The, in my eyes biggest water battle in the world, continued Sunday as I tried my luck directly at the southern bus terminal.
Again wet but with two tickets I came to Maurices place, just to grap my things and make my way to the airport. Just in time and with the help of a lot nice Thais, Luisa and I arrived to our bus to Koh Phangan. It was a though night with out a lot of sleep for us. Especially for Luisa a long trip after 2 days in air plains. Around 12 am we arrived on the island. Even if Jo, a nice guy from Quebec, couldn't host us for the night, he helped us a lot. He found us a place in paradise, which was super affordable with 300 Baht. He drove us around on his scooter and we went snorkelling. Soon Luisa and I have been confirmed to change our plans and stay a night longer on this amazing island. After a nice sunset and a bit rest we went to the full moon party with Jo and his 2 couchsurfers. We danced all night and had a lot of fun beside all the wasted party tourists. After a bath in the ocean at 5 am we went home. Today stared late with a good sandwich and fresh fruit shakes. We went to climb the Phaeng waterfall and bath in the cool water basins. From the top we could see this side of the island. After we relaxed at the beautiful Au Chaloklum beach. Some food and shopping at the night market and we felt ready for our bungalow. Tomorrow we are heading to Koh Tao.
