Khao Sok national park

29.04.2014
In the morning of the 29th we took a bus from Krabi to Khao Sok national park. We arrived at Smiley Bungalow (if you are ever in Thailand, let someone pronounce the word smiley "Samaileeee" - to lovely) around 15 o'clock. For 300 Baht we took a very high bungalow. We checked our hood out, which was basically one road and went to bed early in order to start our trekking early the next morning.

So today we arrived in the park at 9 am. Around 11 it got very hot and every time we found some refreshing water, some insects started to bother us a lot. We have been already full of stitches from the last nights -  even with mosquito net. As well we figured out that Thais seem to make signs like they feel it. We could just find 3 out of 5 waterfalls, of which just one actually had water at this time of the year. And finally we ended up in the middle of the jungle at a dead end. So at 13 o'clock we decided that we had enough nature and left the park for some lunch. On the way back to the hostel we found the tattoo studio we have been searching the evening before. We had one hour left till the last mini bus to Surrathani. So Luisa got her Bamboo Tattoo. From the studio directly to the bus. Quick stop over in Surrathani for our first insects on the night market and my loved Thai tea with milk, of course cold. In Surrathani we bought two tickets to Bangkok and have been worried if we decided for the right one. As we sat in the bus, we couldn't close our mouth and stop laughing. For 531 Baht (around 14 Euro) we had a massage sit, a snack and drinks and after 20 minutes a stop with a free meal (little buffet) and a luxury toilet. The only thing missing was a shower.
Cheers!
