Mumbai and Bye incredible India

23.05.2014
It is 1:20 am. I just had a water in a glass. I'm waiting for my Bloody Mary. The chair I'm sitting in is super soft and comfortable and I can stretch my legs completely. The next thing you won't believe me, cause I can hardly believe it myself: I'm sitting in an air plain Business Class. After 3 weeks in India.

What I'm facing is an unsure situation after my arrival in Bangkok. The plan is to do laundry, get a Thai Tea and a Thai Massage and leave the city within a day.
I'm looking back on 3 crazy week I could not even realize by myself yet. But let me start with how I spend my last days in India.
The travel in my night bus was unexpectedly quite and punctual. I took a taxi to a hostel in Colaba, the tip of Mumbai. It was located right next to the Taj Mahal Hotel and the Gateway of India. I soon met Cecilia, a crazy nice girl from Britain, which gave me some tips what to see for the day. Soon after I started my walking tour I got asked another time where I'm from. As I said Germany a boy turned around and said: I'm planing to study there. We started talking and had lunch together. After we shared a taxi to the hanging gardens, which he lives close to (Quick break: I just got nuts - heated). He offered to meet me at 9pm to show me around with his car. After the disappointing garden I made my way down to Chowpatty Beach. I have never seen more things swapped on a beach (from shells over trash to really everything you con imagine) and I have never seen a blacker water in my life. But at the same time you have been on a wonderful sandy beach in the middle of the biggest town in India. (my Bloody Mary just came. No words.)

Tired I went back to the hostel and met Branka, a very nice German girl. After dinner with George and Cecilia, Manalp drove me through Mumbai by night. Sadly my night was short again and not relaxing at all with another stone mattress. (Huge break for the food -  scroll down.) The plan was to meet Anni and Luki after their arrival in Mumbai in the early morning. To leave our backpacks in my hostel and go for a last shopping trip. Sadly they couldn't read my final message and had problems with their bus. As it is very hard to get WIFI in Mumbai without a Indian mobile number we couldn't communicate with each other at all. Around 11 am I went for some shopping with George, Cecilia and Branka and left a note for Anni and Luki in hope they would come. After some disappointing, shopping there was still no sign from them and I got worried as it was already 18:30 and we wanted to go together to the airport. On the lowest point of my mood they suddenly showed up in front of the hostel door where I was sitting. What a celebration! Beer for everyone gave the day a nice ending. A quick goodbye at the airport and I run for my plane. As you wonder how I got business class: I was the last to check in in an over booked aircraft.
